Thank you Dublin for getting me such a nice flat on such short notice. Dublin is great to work with. He is easy going, transparent, and honest. If you need a rental this is the place to go.
We couldn't have asked for a more consistent, caring, generous man to go through this journey with us. Through my emotional ups and downs in searching for our first home he stayed positive and kept me focused! He never made us feel like clients it was more like we were his family. I'm eternally grateful for him! Even though escrow closed months ago he continues to check in on us. We gained a friend for life. That's what I call an excellent Realtor/ Man!
Although my background was finance and real estate I needed someone who was current on today's processes to guide us through the sale. These folks are professional and never pushed for any decision from us. Instead, they presented what they found based on the current market and let us make our own decisions as to asking price, marketing (open houses or not, etc.) and whether or not to accept or counter an offer. We were out of state sellers and we always felt our property was cared for throughout the process. They earned our trust and we would recommend this team to anyone seeking to buy or sell property.
I first used the Wahlberg group to purchase my condo (I am a repeat customer). Dublin was attentive to the details of the purchase and kept both the seller and me aware of what was happening. When necessary, he contacted the loan officer as well, to keep the purchase moving forward. VERY professional, and made the transaction smooth.
Dublin looked at places with us for two solid months. He would meet us as often as we wanted, sometimes looking at more than 15 places in a day. He was very good at getting leads on places that had what we were looking for, and was honest about things that we might regret later (like a bad neighborhood, or structural damage). In the end, he came through big time, and found us our dream home. He was with us throughout the entire process, working closely with our mortgage officer and the listing agent, and met us at the house for all of the inspections and walkthroughs. We closed a week ago yesterday, and are still amazed at how fortunate we were to find Dublin.
TLDR: Dublin is punctual, professional, treats lgbtq clients equally, and went to bat for us effectively in negotiations on our home in the South Bay. He will listen to what you want, find you the perfect property and get it into escrow and closed for the right price on time. He is knowledgeable about both the OC and Los Angeles. We met Dublin through a recommendation of a long time trusted friend. We were stressed and pressed for time, juggling the sale of another property out of state and staying too close to our quirky family here in L.A. for comfort! Not to mention the 9 hrs per day 6 days a week of neighbors construction we needed to escape from. Add the Pandemic and we were going bananas ready to move to a bigger, more peaceful home. Dublin didn't feed that stress at all. He communicated clearly every step of the way, keeping us informed of all options lending expertise and yet leaving the decision making up to us with no pressure. Dublin listened and understood exactly what we were looking for. We had a prior agent who kept insisting on showing us homes we didn't want at all. Dublin is the opposite really got what we were looking for and how we wanted to work. I get the sense he is very adaptable. We looked at dozens of homes and Dublin handled all logistics even the Covid hurdles with grace and a smile (under his mask but I knew he was smiling!). He has a positive, can-do attitude which is exactly what we needed during this stressful time. I asked Dublin to negotiate for us and he was able to help us effectively get to a fair price and fast timeline for all. From signing forms, to viewing appointments, to help with scheduling inspections Dublin was consistently on time and on point. As an LGBTQ couple we are always ready to deal with and work around B.S. or negligence (from flat out prejudice to unconscious bias) from professionals from doctors to bankers to caterers. It is what it is, extra work. We didn't have to do that extra work with Dublin. Being LGBTQ was a non-issue throughout the entire process. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Dublin to LGBTQ and non-traditional families in addition to everyone else. We've landed in a home that is perfect for us that we feel is a super solid long term investment. We have Dublin to thank for a 500% reduction in stress as we now sit in our quiet back yard! Thank you Dublin!
We are a younger couple who have always dreamed of living in a metropolitan area, but because we are in our 20's, we were limited to what we could purchase. We saw that Dublin had a listing on redfin and decided to call him up, and although the place was just outside of the area we wanted to be, he could tell our hearts weren't in it. He then compiled a whole list of properties and took us on a tour of Long Beach (he's very knowledgeable and will tell you all the best restaurants and hang out spots). After a few days of searching, we finally found a condo and went into escrow. It was more centrally located, but a bit smaller than what we wanted, even so, we thought that was it! But Dublin one uped us, he went above and beyond and found something even better! He's a great listener and knew our taste, he found a unit that was just about to hit the market, and was able to send in an offer for us before anyone else! We were ecstatic and pulled out of escrow from the precious condo and was able to go straight into escrow for the new unit. Coralyn then took over and stayed in constant contact with us, giving updates and answering questions at odd hours. Both are some of the most genuine people I have ever met, and you can tell they are well-loved and liked by everyone because of the many persons that came up to us to say hello while we were hunting for homes. Their names will be the first that comes to mind when recommending realtors!
We had the monstrous task of finding and closing on a home in 120 days. Dublin went above and beyond, visiting properties with us near every day, advising us on nuances of each property we wouldn't have spotted, and ultimately managing a very unresponsive seller's agent to make sure we closed on time and that our interests were protected. 10/10 experience. I would absolutely recommend The Wahlberg Group to anyone who is looking for a real estate group to work with.
I was so happy, however a big move from out-of-state can also be stressful! That's why it was extremely important to choose the right Real Estate agent. Thankfully we did - Dublin Wahlberg and the team at The Wahlberg Group are the best! I couldn't be more grateful! He wasn't just an agent looking for commission or pushing for a sale; Dublin was literally a part of the family throughout the entire process! He checked in with them regularly, sent countless options to consider and went out of his way to understand what they wanted. When they were in town simultaneously visiting family/house hunting, Dublin worked around their schedule and had a comprehensive tour of quality open houses planned out. He was professional, dedicated to finding the perfect home for them and beyond patient with my grandmother's unrealistic demands. (Don't tell her I said that) Thanks again for everything you did for them Dublin and I will definitely be telling anyone in the market to sell or buy that I know the best agent to call!!
Towards the end we hit done snags with my Incompetent HOA, but Dublin and his people handled it with true professionalism. I've dealt with many different realtors and escrow companies over the past 20 years I've been doing real estate. I can say with confidence, if you're looking for a team of professionals who can get the job done, even when curve and screw balls are thrown, this is the team you want to have in your corner. Thanks so much,
